Meet the Owner/Instructor of Flyte District

Rebecca Adkinson - Owner/Lead Instructor

 

Hi, I’m Rebecca — the heart behind Flyte District. Movement, music, and helping people feel confident in their bodies have been a huge part of my life. For the past 3.5 years, I’ve worked as a certified Dance2Fit instructor, leading high-energy classes that blend dance, cardio, and strength in a way that’s fun, approachable, and empowering for all fitness levels. Teaching group fitness has allowed me to connect with tons of participants and create spaces where people feel supported, motivated, and excited to show up for themselves. 


Teaching fitness classes has impacted my life in more ways than I ever expected. Beyond the physical benefits, it has played a huge role in strengthening my own mental health, giving me structure, purpose, and a reason to consistently show up — not just for others, but for myself. Leading classes has taught me accountability, resilience, and the power of positive energy in a room full of people working toward better versions of themselves. What started as instruction quickly grew into meaningful relationships, and over time many of the people I’ve met through fitness have become long-term friends who truly feel like family. Those connections, the trust, and the shared journeys are worth more than gold to me and are a constant reminder of why I love what I do. 


When I discovered bungee fitness, it was instant love. The feeling of flying, the creativity of movement, and the ability to deliver a powerful workout with low impact on the joints immediately resonated with me. I knew right away I wanted to bring that experience to others and build a community around it. Bungee fitness perfectly combines strength, endurance, balance, low impact cardio, and fun — everything I believe exercise should be.


My background also includes experience in Real Estate, Customer Service, Business Operations, and Wellness-Focused Environments, which shapes how I run Flyte District — with professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail. I believe fitness should be inclusive, uplifting, and adaptable to every individual, whether you’re brand new to movement or already active and looking for something fresh.


Flyte District was created from my passion for combining fitness with creativity and freedom of movement. My goal is to offer a space where people can build strength, improve endurance, boost confidence, and build a community for themselves, while genuinely enjoying the process. 


Every class I have designed has been with the intention to be effective, encouraging, and energizing — so you leave feeling stronger, lighter, and more confident than when you walked in.
